Glam Squad
The term "Glam Squad" refers to the team that can help create the look for your shoot. The number of team members present will be determined by your budget. However, a full glam squad typically consists of the following people:
Makeup Artist: Possibly the most essential member of the glam squad. The makeup artists that I work with are celebrity makeup artists who have worked with artists like Keyshia Cole, Ashanti, Remy Ma, Mya and many others. The first job of the makeup artist is to cover any flaws that may be visible on your skin. While a makeup artist should not be confused with a miracle worker, a good makeup artist can reduce the apperance of pimples and facial blemishes.
At times I will ask the makeup artist to match your makeup to the clothing you will be wearing. Often however, we will keep one "natural" look for the entire session and make touchups to the makeup throughout the session.
Hair Stylist: Depending on your natural hair style, a hair stylist may or may not have a dramatic impact on your photos. If you chose to book a hair styist for your session, I will have the stylist contact you prior to the shoot to discuss exactly what can or cannot be done to your hair during the shoot.
Fashion Stylist: A fashion stylist will always have a dramatic impact on your look. They will create a look for you that may seem foreign to you but is in fact in keeping with today's hot looks. The fashion stylist has a very difficult job in that he/she has to pull clothing from showrooms in the days before your shoot, and return all these items in the days after your shoot. During the shoot, the stylist use the clothing he/she has pulled in along with items you have brought, to create your own unique look.
